Charlotte Black was born to a military family abroad which provided her the unique opportunity to see the world from many different perspectives and ultimately, shaped her world. She began writing short stories at the young age of 11 however, she never viewed it as a talent. She was inquisitive and found it interesting to listen to the life experiences of other people, often asking a myriad of questions in an attempt to experience the event through their emotions. As a result of that interest, she majored in Psychology and Human Behavior obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science. Although she did not go on to work actively in the field of counseling, she did go on to study with Argosy University where she was selected for the Forensic Psychology & Family Counseling Mater’s Program. Ms. Black has always had an affinity for studying relationships and the various dynamics which play a critical part in lending to their longevity and preservation of beliefs which, are sometimes faulty, blurring one’s perspective.
"Our experiences shape our world so to understand worlds, you begin with experiences."
